GENESIS
Work Note:
This is the first of seven pieces written by seven composers depicting the seven days of creation. This piece depicts the beginning of creation, where God creates light, and thereby day. The story starts with the earth being empty and dark. It proceeds with the first sunrise and the energetic day. After the sunset and the subsequent night, the sunrise returns and the first day cycle is complete.
GENESIS is one of seven movements, from sven different composers, depicting the creation narrative from the Bible.
