A liminal moment is an uncanny suspension between contrasting states, where it isn’t defined as one or the other, but both simultaneously. This piece explores liminal moments in pulse and tempo. Depending on your perspective, the music could be getting faster, slower or both at the same time. 

The piece is written for the same instrumentation as Andy Akiho’s Seven Pillars.
